IT Auditor
Large financial client in the Northern Suburbs is looking for an Internal Auditor for a contract to hire opportunity. The Internal Audit Professional will use technical and operational skills to support the Internal Audit Departmentrsquo;s objectives. The Internal Audit Consultant or Senior Associate will be assigned to the IT Infrastructure and Information Security related reviews where they will follow the Internal Audit methodology, interview clients, create process flows and narratives, review business processes, identify and assess controls, test key controls, develop findings and communicate with clients to develop action plans. Specifically, the Internal Audit Consultant Senior Associate will be assigned to work on multiple concurrent IT and integrated audits in the areas of information security, different computing platforms. Windows, UNIX and mainframe, enterprise network, firewalls middleware and other production applications or environment. This includes supervision of assigned staff and creation and presentation of findings to business unit management. Skills Required: bull; Good understanding of computer security related fields, including security implementation, network security operations, security policy and security technology administration. bull; Knowledge of Mainframe, UNIX and Windows environments, Client Server Technology, Networks, Firewalls, and E-Commerce security risks. bull; Knowledge of Cisco-Switches, Routers, Firewall, Ethernet, Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology, and TCP/IP bull; Knowledge of technology and security related to payment services industry, such as transactions authorization processing and PIN Security and encryption key management. bull; Knowledge of business risks related to general system controls, systems development, change management, logical access security, local area network, wide areas network, wireless network and remote access concepts, contingency and recovery. bull; Knowledge of vulnerability management process, including vulnerability identification, assessment and patch management, related to web applications and other applications and systems in general. bull; Experience with Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs). bull; Working knowledge of IBM Mainframe and ACL (Audit Command Language), including use of ACL Audit Exchange product. bull; Excellent analytic, oral and written communication skills. bull; Experience with accessing information security on a variety of platforms, including Mainframe, Oracle, and Teradata.
