IT Auditor Job in Wiltshire, South West UK

The Role
As part of the European IT Audit team based in various locations around Europe, you will actively play a part in developing and implementing improvements to audit methodology, client services and administrative processes.
Specific duties in the role will include;
- Responsibility for managing a portfolio of assignments, offering ad hoc advisory services to the wider business as well as developing and maintaining key business relationships with senior stake holders.
- Responsibility for the continual revision of audit programs (you will also play a pivotal role in assessing IT strategies, participate in system reviews and assist in the development of action plans moving forward).
- Reporting into the functional Audit Directors on the progress of projects.
The Candidate
This role requires someone who has the gravitas to both influence and build strong professional working relationships across the Global IT Audit Team. Previous IT audit experience is essential and a background in a large accountancy practice would be advantageous.
SOX/ Internal Control Systems experience is preferred along with a background in risk evaluation, compliance or an equivalent field. In addition strong knowledge of IT plus a good understanding of leading ERP, finance and accounting systems such as SAP will be particularly useful in this role.
Experience of working with different cultures is essential (due to global remit) and CISA, CISM, CISSP or CIA qualifications are preferred
