IT Business Analyst - 12 Month Contract
Ripley, Derbyshire
Up to £30,000 Plus Non Contributory Pension, 28 Days' Holiday (including bank holidays)

Calling all business analysts! Can you implement, test and troubleshoot system software? Are you capable of writing SQL database queries? If so, our client a versatile and experienced group of manufacturing companies, is looking for an IT Business Analyst to join them on a 12 month contract.

As an IT Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for promoting innovation and continually developing success, whilst contributing to a number of significant projects.

You will take ownership of key internal systems and processes that drive the business, as we as have overall responsibility for the end-to-end implementation and support of products and solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for systems analysis, project management and providing support services for the Enterprise Resource planning system, and other associated business systems.

Some of your duties will include:

- Collecting information to analyse and evaluate
- Analysing requirements to produce detailed IT system specifications
- Preparing detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes
- Researching and recommending software development, purchase and use
- Managing IT projects, including third party contractors

To be considered for this rewarding contract, you must have:

- Business analysis experience
- A proven track record of planning, implementing and troubleshooting system software
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint

The ideal IT Business Analyst will have experience of writing SQL database queries to extract required data.
