IT Business Analyst
Essential Skills: demonstrable track record of working as a structured BA within a consultancy or large scale Investment Bank; proven track record of delivering complex IT projects or programs of work; experience of structured methodologies, in particular AGILE (SCRUM, XP, RUP etc.) and / or Waterfall; subject matter expertise withinn a range of asset classes from the front ot back office.
Desirable Skills: Business knowledge across the following areas is very useful to my client currently, these areas are: FX; Commodities Trading, particularly with knowledge across soft / agricultural products; front office trading experience; Asset Management (front to back); Oil, gas and Metals.
My client is a highly respected technology consultancy based in London with a client base that is wide and varied across a number of large global blue-chip organisations. They have a strong specialism within Financial Services, particularly trading organisations with most of their project based work coming within large tier one investment Banks. They are a delivery based technology organisation that pride themselves on being the type of consultants that roll their sleeves up and deliver complex enterprise scale technology solutions. They generally work on the more complex and tricky assignments within their client based, or perhaps work on projects or programs of work that have gone wrong, be it by a client's internal delivery function or perhaps by another consultancy that have failed. They are not the kind of organisation who stand up in meeting rooms telling the client how to fix their business but lacking the capability to deliver the solution.
My client is looking for hungry and delivery focused technology BA's who have a wide and varied skillset in BA work and have deep functional business knowledge also. If you have worked within a delivery focused technology consultancy before then you will definitely be of interest to my client as you will understand the challenges and demands of being successful as a consultant. In particular there is a growing need for Lead BA's or BA team Leaders to grow and expand small to medium sized teams across the expanding client base, so if leadership is something you require in your next role, then get in touch.
