The Position

The role of the IT Business Analyst/Project Manager is to interact with end users across all levels of the organization in order to conduct analysis of business issues and challenges.  The key components of this role are identifying processes and technology initiatives to improve business performance, participating in the implementation of these new processes, documenting functional specifications and workflow, facilitation of requirements gathering meetings and workshops and the translation of business requirements into appropriate technical specifications.  The successful candidate will have the ability to drive multiple initiatives forward and manage change in a complex and dynamic environment.

The Candidate
This successful candidate will be able to balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately and effectively with both information technology and business experts. They will have completed a college diploma or university degree in computer science or business coupled with over 5 years of strong, related work experience in business analysis and/or project management.  Experience identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, documenting and implementing business requirements and the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions is paramount to ensure success in this role.  Superior interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams and the ability to take initiative without supervision are also requirements. Experience with Sharepoint projects would be an asset.
