IT Business Analyst – Structured Products recruitment
The client is a leading European bank in Singapore and is looking at hiring a Business Analyst due to the increased demand in its business. You will be joining the wealth management business of the bank.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary study for new business IT initiatives
- Gather business requirements and provide impact analysis from functional point of view.
- Document and discuss functional specifications with key stakeholders and estimate effort
- Review technical solutions with IT technical team
- Involve in testing activities
- Review and maintain documentation
- Manage or coordinate business global and/or Asian regional IT projects.
- Manage business IT projects including the monitoring of project progress, identify key risk issues and implementing mitigation actions
- Work closely with different business units to identify needs and to propose the solutions as well as to communicate with IT technical team
- Liaise with vendor for the functional support for deployment project
Requirements:
- Bachelor or above in IT and/or Business-related disciplines
- More than 5 years of experience as Business Analyst in banking industry, preferably in Wealth Management business line.
- Strong functional knowledge of Structured Products
- Previous experience in a key role of implementing Calypso solution
- Team player with strong interpersonal coordination skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good experience in IT project management
- Good English communication skills including both written and verbal
