IT Business Analyst
We are looking for a IT Business Analyst for an Oracle ERP (Financials) implementation. This is a full time position at our OKC location. At this time, the company is not sponsoring any visas.
Perform business analyst and systems analyst activities to support the Oracle eBusiness suite. Work with users and project teams to ensure systems are functionally and technically sound. Work closely with users in developing objectives for improving systems and in identifying system solutions. Support day-to-day operations from a technical, operational, and security perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop functional specification requirements in response to requests for systems changes by the business leaders of the area served by the business analyst.
- Ensure the functional requirements of the business are met by the programming changes that are produced by development staff. User acceptance tests should be performed independently and in conjunction with the business teams.
- Define, update and distribute key documentation material for System Release Bulletins, Knowledge Based Articles and Training / Coaching assistance.
- Be the liaison between the internal and external technical support, programming staff, Business Analysts, and end users for Oracle Financials/Procurement applications.
- Assist application project team in the resolution of any program or technical problem. Ensure trouble tickets are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide application support to Oracle Financials/Procurement users (primary) and cross team assistance with Oracle HRMS support.
- Maintain and coordinate all security to Oracle eBusiness applications ensuring proper segregation of duties by creating custom responsibilities when indicated.
- Work with Oracle Financials business analyst team in Dublin as well as the business partners to understand global priorities and prioritize service requests accordingly taking into consideration processing requirements and support structures.
- Implement Oracle eBusiness applications and/or any new functionality in countries as requested by management. Implement application upgrades and coordinate regression testing as required.
- Work with application project leaders to ensure operational considerations and business requirements properly interface with all other systems. Assist in establishing system acceptance criteria.
- Study user operations and identify areas of potential improvement or possible problems and document requirements for improving the operations. Streamline functions and processes within Oracle eBusiness applications as necessary.
- Research and review new technology and make recommendations as to the application of the technology to the Hertz environment.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Professional Experience:
- Three to five years working knowledge of Oracle Financials ERP systems.
- Financial and business acumen.
- Comprehends roles of key stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams under minimal direction.
- Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking, influencing and execution.
- Excellent understanding of the Business Analysis and IT roles within the industry.
- Domestic and International business travel as deemed necessary for successful deployment.
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of both technical and functional aspects of Oracle Financials and/or Oracle Procurement
- Understand Accounting Systems requirements
