Volt is looking for an individual to analyze and document business needs in relation to key IT systems to help shape application development priorities and direction.
Responsibilities include:
*Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*Work independently with key stake holders, business management and development staff and under the direction of IT Management.
*Ensure the appropriate level of end user testing is completed.
*Develop and maintain test automation using available automation tools to facilitate regression testing.
*Confirm functionality delivered by development team meets the criteria defined in functional requirements.
*Proactively communicate and collaborate with development staff to help them understand functional requirements and to help translate functional requirements to technical requirements.
*Critically evaluate understanding gathered from key stake holders and business management, reconcile conflicts, and discern functional requests from the true underlying issues and needs.
*Work with key stake holders and business management to understand and document business processes, workflow and related system functionality for the purpose of enhancing system functionality to deliver business value.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will posses the following:
*At least 3 years experience with business analysis or quality assurance.
*Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration with an IT background.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Work, Excel, Visio and Outlook.
*Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into functional system requirements.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts.
