IT Business Consultant
My client is a multinational software company with offices in Cork, Dublin UK.
My client is market leader in their field with over 75% of the UK Ireland market and boasts a large multinational client base across financial services, pharmaceutical and ICT industries worldwide, as well as large government bodies.
This is a permanent role based in Cork.
Cork is the base for the co's professional services team. Current Staff are employed in areas such as product management, project management, business case analysis and software development. The company has already gained an excellent reputation as an employer and has very low attrition.
These roles will work within the professional services team in Cork on supporting key software products in providing professional services and solutions to key multinational clients in the Ireland (typically areas such as financial services, semi-state, ICT and manufacturing). The role work as part of a newly established delivery team and will liasie the customer and the Implementation Project Management team on building business cases around how the customer's best utilize new and existing systems.
This role will focus on how the customers will effectively integrate the systems and implement business cases to ensure that clients are getting the most from their systems, as opposed to actually implementing the systems (which is done by the Implementation Consultant).
Finally, the role will act as link between software development and customer on key system integration and process mapping improvement projects around new and existing software systems therefore previous business analyst experience would be an advantage.
For these positions we are seeking:
· BIS/Computer Science/Computer System graduates with c. 3-6 years experience in an IT Consultant /Business Analyst/Systems Analyst or similar software implementation role.
· A proven track record of building and implementing customer business cases
· Previous software, applications or systems implementation experience is essential
· Previous SQL or Oracle database experience an advantage
· Software test experience is an advantage
· Suitable candidates will have strong software systems, analytical, report writing and project implementation.
· Strong communication and presentation skills
