I/T Business Relationship Lead - Lifescan

A vacancy has arisen for the position of I/T Business Relationship LEAD - LifeScan in IT LifeScan EMEA (part of the Johnson Johnson Diabetes Franchise), reporting to the I/T Business Relationship Manager, EMEA. 
 
The job holder will be primarily responsible for business planning, business analysis, needs analysis and business risk assessment.  He/she will focus on identifying business needs and process improvements and to translate these into IT solutions that drive business value.  He/she will consult with business partners and closely partner with the regional and country organizations to shape demand and determine how to best support the business through the effective use of technology. 
 
The candidate will assist business partners in training and in ensuring that the available tools and processes are optimally used.  He/she will work with the business to monitor business results and implement improvement plans where necessary.  The candidate will lead the intake of business demand through the different project process steps in IT. Specific area's are in the commercial:  Sales, Marketing and Business Intelligence, supported through main technologies: Siebel and Cognos. The job holder will work as a member of teams composed of business users, business analysts, business and technical consultants, IT delivery COE's,  JJ Global Services and IT support teams to deliver efficient, and effective IT solutions. Key projects: Deployment of SFA and Business Intelligence solutions throughout EMEA.
 
The successful candidate will be based at JJ LifeScan in Beerse, Belgium. There is likely to be requirement for 20% travel.
 

· Typically candidates will possess 6+ years of relevant experience and BA/BSc Degree (or equivalent) OR 4+ years with advanced degree (or equivalent) in business or technical discipline i.e. Operations Research, Computer Information Systems and Engineering.
·  Experience of Medical Devices and Diagnostics preferred, but not essential.
·  Excellent English skills (oral and written).
·  Demonstrated capability in building successful business relationships.
·  Has proven ability to learn and apply new and emerging concepts very quickly.
·  Effective communicator at all levels with strong influencing skills - a good networker.
·  Possess good analytical skills.  An understanding of the processes and procedures in Portfolio Management and Clarity would be an advantage.
·  An understanding of project managment and planning; someone who is systematic and detail conscious.
·  Ablilty to work on own initiative in a virtual team.
 
Interviews for this position are likely to be held in Beerse on November 24th.
