IT Business Systems Analyst or Sr. Analyst Tracking Code 1719 Job Description Employees in temporary/non-regular job classifications will be eligible for medical benefits after completing one year of employment. Specific-Term employees will be placed as temporary/non-regular employees and will be subject to the terms stated above. Qualified employees must have been in their current position for at least six months and have supervisory approval to participate in order for their current position to be held open for the duration of the assignment or filled temporarily. Under moderate or general direction, an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) works with business units at a project level as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements of business processes, policies, and information systems; assists in requirements gathering using a variety of basic techniques and translates and communicates business requirements to technical team members at a basic level; demonstrates basic understanding of technology and applications within own enterprise; creates and executes software test plans and assist business stakeholders with user acceptance testing, defect reporting and resolution. The Sr. BSA works with business units at an enterprise level and communicates with clients using data and process models to clarify and validate requirements; participates in workflow analysis and other business process analysis to identify and clarify requirements; and provides mentorship to junior business systems analysts. This job resides within the IT organization. Relocation benefits are not available for this position. Required Experience MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor s degree in business, computer science, or related field or equivalent of combination of education and IT/business experience equal to 5 years of professional level experience. Experience (Analyst) Prefer 1-2 years Business Analyst experience. (Sr. Analyst) 2-5 years professional level IT business experience with a minimum of 2 years business analyst experience. Licenses Certifications (Sr. Analyst) Prefer Business Analyst certification (BABOK).
