IT Business Tech Specialist recruitment

Tasks will include administering the program from a reporting perspective, documenting and coordinating requirements gathering, business analysis, and design of appropriate solutions. This role will encompass aspects of project management and project lifecycles, to assist the Programme and Project Manager, as well as analysis of markets products, Surveillance abuse types and documenting requirements.

The role involves working with and coordinating a globally diverse range of people and systems in all business and technology units. The projects will initially relate to Markets Surveillance including Trade, Email and other mechanisms for Market Abuse however the role will require candidate to support the other GFTS Compliance Tech initiatives relating to Institutional Anti Money Laundering (AML,) Disclosure reporting and any other Compliance projects that may arise.

To assist the programme manager in:
• Overall line management responsibility for CTS EMEA Belfast Team including management of the BA and Development team, reporting into CTS EMEA (Non-AML) Programme Director in London and the GFTS EMEA Department Manager locally
• Foster and maintaining relationships and working closely with the Business, Compliance, Operations Technology partners, and communicating expectations/deliverables.
• Provide general administration and logistic support to the Program manager for the EMEA Surveillance projects and programme
• Administer the collection and consolidation of project updates on a weekly basis
• Manage the creation and delivery of standard weekly, monthly and ad-hoc program reports for the internal stakeholders within Technology and the Business
• Assist the Programme Manager with the management of the EMEA Surveillance financials at both a regional and global reporting level

• Assisting the Program Manager to implement project/programme governance and ensure adherence to Citi Project and Programme management framework.
Attend and write-up minutes/actions from various meetings and workshops, along with chasing action completion from business and technical meetings
• Document the project initiation and definition deliverables which will include project scope, assumptions, identifying the business areas affected, operational flow of multiple business areas or processes
• Own the data analysis and the gathering, writing and reviewing of detailed business and technical Surveillance requirements documents
• Control and track project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by constantly evaluating progress and conducting regular team status meetings
• Picking up project work that will cross over to other Compliance-focused initiatives including Institutional AML and Disclosure of interest.

Skills

• Supporting projects within a customer-focused environment
• Experience in working with different staff levels, including senior management
• Knowledge of financial services, more specifically Capital markets products; Equities and Fixed Income including derivatives experience
• Working knowledge of Compliance business areas including AML, Surveillance and Disclosure reporting
• Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (SDLC, Prince2, PMI/PMBOK and MSP etc.) would be an advantage
• Exposure to the APAMA suite of products would be advantageous
• Exposure to specific surveillance requirements (i.e. MAD / MiFID / ESMA) for Financial Institutions would be advantageous
• Proven record of supporting complex projects and programmes
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-working
• Good organization and meeting time deadlines.

Skills:

• Knowledge of financial services, specifically the Markets business would be an advantage
