IT Compliance & Regulatory Leader recruitment

GE Capital EMEA is looking to recruit an IT Compliance Regulatory Leader to be based in their London Office.
Reporting directly to the IT Governance, Risk Compliance Leader, EMEA, Capital EMEA – HQ, this role will work closely with the in county teams and the Programme delivery team in order to ensure that all solutions meet both the local and FED requirements and be considered a point of reference across the technology landscape in assessing regulatory and policy changes. The ideal candidate will be seen as an expert in their field and will be able to compare and contrast local requirements with those from the supervisor regulator (FED).
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have a deep understanding of regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions particularly within EMEA and Eastern Europe. You will also possess a strong track record of managing IT Security in a regulated retail financial services environment coupled with a deep understanding of IT Security policy and procedures and their enforcement. You have gained a detailed practical knowledge of BS ISO/IEC 17799 and BS ISO/IEC 27001 with proven certification experience. A working knowledge of EMEA HQ regulatory requirements inclusive of BSI, and Data Protection would be beneficial. You will also possess a strong track record in understanding the policy and regulatory framework and how this impacts the technology landscape.
