IT Consultant recruitment
To conduct infrastructure research for clients, broad infrastructure design and roadmap planning, provide pre-project consulting, develop business cases, and perform work required for project initiation (e.g. conducting feasibility studies, assessing impact, estimating level of effort) for client’s infrastructure projects
Responsibilities:-
Provide expert technology advice and counsel on small to enterprise infrastructure architecture, standards and policies, as well as deployment considerations
Provide expert advice and counsel on infrastructure evolution and migration options
Create business case documents and high-level technical requirements for proposed infrastructure projects or initiatives for clients
Proactively monitor the delivery of prioritized infrastructure projects by in-house team and/or outsource vendors and ensure proper project governance
Also act as a project manager / program manager/ technical consultant
Keep abreast of the latest trends in technology, ensure timely exploration and proactively communicate to the rest of the team
Skills:-
Minimum 5-10 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in an consulting related position. In-depth skills in ANY ONE of the defined Strategy Domain for the role :
- Storage
- Virtualization ( VMware )
- Windows (Email and MS Exchange)
- Security and firewalls
Minimum 3-5 years experience on medium to larger projects migration / deployments
Tertiary qualifications are essential , ITIL , PMP / PMI certification is an added advantage
Good technical experience in design, development and program/ project manage across infrastructure and application
Excellent communications abilities and relationship management skills
Passion and ability to learn new technologies and their application
Good understanding of technology concepts, trends and capabilities
Good infrastructure and industry knowledge
