Description:Position summary: The Simply Mac IT Coordinator is required to diligently execute all duties described below. The IT Coordinator works diligently to ensure continuity of computer system services for computer users by providing the technical expertise, assistance, and project coordination necessary to install computer software products, modify/repair hardware and resolve technical problems.
Core objective: To service computers and their applications accurately and in a timely manner ensuring the retail and corporate locations are able to perform all necessary functions at all times.
Duties:Position responsibilities:
• Assure continuity of the phone, internet and computer system for all system users
• Respond immediately to all trouble tickets and update status or close them within 24 hours
• Conduct periodic checkups on all systems and address ongoing issues
• Report monthly on all issues, resolutions and expenses
• Work with B2B Sales Representative to help scope and install customer purchased systems.
• Install selected software and hardware products
• Maintain Point of Sale systems, information systems, web and all contents
• Research software products and applicability to organizational environment
• Repair hardware as necessary and work closely with service vendors to ensure continuity of service
• Purchase IT equipment required for store openings.
• Coordinate repairs and warranty work with outside vendors, phone company, etc.
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:Essential skills and experience:

• Be "on-call" for all periods as assigned by manager
• Ability to work efficiently without supervision
• Work overtime as required
• Travel as required
• 2+ years Mac hardware experience
• Ability to troubleshoot Mac OS
• 1+ years Ethernet networking experience
• Typing of at least 50 wpm
• Extremely knowledgeable in all Microsoft and Apple OS and Server applications
• 1+ Years of router, switch, bridge and network cabling
• Knowledge of Point of Sale systems and capabilities
Valued but not required skills and experience:
• A+ Certification
• Programming experience
• Associates Degree
• Three or more years of direct hands on computer repair experience
• Customer service experience
