Being at the forefront of customer contact you will be the ‘first point of contact” for all in bound calls with IT/Technical issues relating to software applications. As most of the support is by phone remote access, being patient and having clear communication skills is essential.
You’ll get to work in a team of friendly, supportive colleagues and will not be restricted to a ‘script’ of questions to get to the root of a problem. Using your initiative, thinking on your feet and be willing to share information is encouraged in this role. This role offers the chance for you to show how your relationship building, troubleshooting and problem solving skills are your strengths.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Answering all inbound calls from external customers
- Logging enquiries into support and development database
- Troubleshoot all queries and uncover solutions
- Carry out documentation of queries made on telephone, email or remote connections
- Track and advise progress of work in progress
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 1 years commercial experience
- Insurance Background desirable
- Superior customer service experience essential
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Demonstrated skills in a remote computing environment and use of remote access tools
- High level of skills with various versions of MS Office
