IT Customer Support Technician  


Requirements:

·        You must be eligible for or have a DoD secret clearance.

·        Minimum of 3 years experience working with personal computers in a technical support capacity. Installation of PCs, loading of  SDC operating systems and upgrades, as well as installation and update of COTS software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite.

·         Installation and testing of VPN and air cards and system checkout of laptops to test wireless capability is installed and operational.

·        Technicians must have a working knowledge of Windows

·        Working knowledge of PC configuration settings and network settings for using Ethernet connections is highly desirable as are Microsoft certifications.

·        Must have to ability to be professional and should be able to resolve the simplest issues and most common problems over the phone verbally without the need to refer the issue to a senior technician. 

·        Technician must have the ability to collect the information needed to open a Remedy ticket along with gathering any additional information that will be helpful and assigned the issue to the appropriate technical personnel based upon the nature of the problem
