IT Desktop Support Specialist Job in Los Gatos 95032, California US
Amalfi is seeking an experienced IT professional to support and maintain desktop and laptop computing resources and to ensure smooth operation at all levels of the company. This is a part-time position at 20 hours/week.
Responsibilities:
o General Help Desk support for 60+ users
o Business application support (Windows XP, Windows 7, Office 2003/2010, Outlook, ShoreTel Phone System, Voice Mail, and iPhone)
o Install and configure personal computers, peripherals and software within established standards and guidelines
o Order new hardware and software
o Perform hardware replacement, repair and upgrades
o Setup computer equipment for meetings and demos
o Assist IT staff with other duties as needed
Required Skills:
· 2+ years experience in general IT support
· Candidates must be self-starters, with demonstrated success in a small company environment
· Strong track record of delivering timely and high reliability IT support
· Experience in identifying and solving problems
· Strong people skills; an excellent communicator and team-player
Educational Requirements:
· IT industry certifications, or AS, or BS, in Computer Science or related fields
