IT Developer/ Senior IT Developer (Java skills with experience in Equity Derivatives business) recruitment
Our client is one of major investment banks in the globe. With a global network of subsidiaries and offices in Europe, US, North Africa, Asia Pacific and other markets, they are looking for a IT Developer/ Senior IT Developer based in Hong Kong for the regional support and continuous improvement of the system.
Core Responsibilities
- Development of the marketer exotic options platform for the Equity and Derivatives in Hong Kong.
- Support daily relation with sales and traders on the trading floor.
- Maintain the tools in a proper way of coding and professionalism with respect of the Company release rules.
- Emergency issues are followed immediately.
- Ensure compatibility and updated of the libraries accordingly with proper UAT.
- Ensure a good documentation of the code released and a documentation for the production side
- Release note and proper training to the users is follow properly
Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- Java
- Advanced web technologies: Object oriented Javascript, AJAX
- Weblogic (an advantage)
- Microsoft SQL Server (an advantage)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
- Fluent in English
- Strong Java and Object Oriented programming skills
- 3+ years Java development experience
- 2+ years development experience in a financial environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and proactive team player
- Knowledge of derivatives
