IT Director- Retail Banking recruitment

SUMMARY:

Senior IT manager to join management team as the Account Manager for the Service and Operations business unit based in Sydney
Provide each business with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs
Service a diverse client base including independent financial advisers, stockbrokers, mortgage brokers, professional service industries and retail clients

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing technology infrastructure
Supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing business systems
Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services
Work with management team to drive strategy and architecture
Accountable for a team of 35+ IT staff and will have a proven track record in leading and developing teams with the ability to define and select appropriate staff and tools in order to strive for continuous improvement
Delivery of key technology platforms and effective operations of the technology platforms for the servicing organisation
Engage key stakeholders and the drive the adoption of IT to improve client service and reduce operational expense

REQUIREMENTS:

10+ years’ experience
Broad knowledge of retail banking and the operational activity of client servicing, and will have experience influencing key business stakeholders within these industries
Input your external perspective and experience to an established management team of senior IT professionals; it will be highly valued, and strong influencing and communication skills will maximise your contribution to the strategic direction
Track Record managing large scale technology integration projects, particularly business process management / workflow and customer management technology, and demonstrate an ability to drive change
Strong stakeholder management skills along with a strong operational background
