IT Endpoint Engineer-Hedge Fund recruitment

 The scope of the solutions which the Endpoint Engineering team are responsible for include management (patching, software delivery, etc.) and endpoint protection (Antivirus / Antimalware, encryption, HIPS, etc.) tools, standards, processes and services.

The Endpoint Engineering Lead is an experienced, self starting, highly skilled engineer of endpoint management and protection technologies and services, who has developed solutions of this type before. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the definition of the vision and strategy for the endpoint management space and for building the solutions that will turn that vision and strategy into reality.

Position Requirements:
At least 7-10 years of experience in relevant technologies (provisioning, patching, configuration management, threat protection), including experience leading complex initiatives
Must be able to create enterprise class designs that are highly available, scalable and secure.
Must have experience in implementing strategy for software delivery, endpoint provisioning and endpoint management solutions including Microsoft/Linux operating systems and management tools including Symantec Endpoint Protection.
Must be capable of visualizing, sequencing, and managing parallel activities within a specific project and recognizing external dependencies / pre-requisites and responding accordingly (escalation to manager, project team, etc.)
Must be capable of engineering solutions (defining requirements, planning, designing and building solutions) including individual components, products, and service for endpoint management and software delivery (software distribution, application virtualization, etc.)
Must have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively at the right level with a wide variety of people
Must be able to work well in an ambiguous and changing environment
Must be goal oriented and have the ability to prioritize.
Must be a team player and have the ability to align their work to the overall technology strategy
Open to giving and receiving direct criticism in an environment where people are encouraged to challenge and criticize management of all levels.
