The IT Help Desk Analyst Delivers 1st level Help! Desk service to personal computer users, data center, phone and voice mail clients by providing a single point of contact to report problems or direct inquiries. Manage day to day service delivery problems and requests via email, and phone. Provides a single point of contact to all employee’s for all their network, phone, and computer needs. Able to work varying shifts 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.. Manages day-to-day service delivery problems and requests. Associate degree in computer science or equivalent; Microsoft certifications preferred. 1 year Information Technology customer service related work. Valid PA driver's license and reliable self transportation for on call hours and trips to remote sites.  Experience with all Microsoft Windows operating systems, XP and Vista, MS Outlook and the MS Office Professional product suite. Strong knowledge of personal computer equipment (HP and Dell) preferred. Should be familiar with Microsoft Active Directory and PC imaging techniques. Some form of ticketing system experience is also preferred. Candidate should possess a high level of sound judgment and decision making ability. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with initiative to see items resolved through to completion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Superior telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Must have a professional manner when dealing with vendors, clients, fellow workers, and upper management. This position requires candidate to lift 30 pounds, and to work/crawl in tight spaces. Offsite visits occasionally required either to a satellite office or to a laboratory environment in a hospital. Participation in an on call rotation and weekend shifts.
