IT INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST recruitment

Responsibilities:

• undertake daily operational checks, investigate and resolve any problems identified
• provide 1st and 2nd level network, telecommunications support in local and overseas office during Asia hours
• answer, evaluate and prioritise incoming help desk telephone, email and in-person requests for assistance on desktop and network where required, implement relevant steps to prevent re-occurrence, whilst doing so document network processes and maintain network operations standards and guidelines 
• provide planning and support on BCP and disaster recovery for local and/or regional offices
• analyse network processes and functions; research and evaluate systems and make recommendations to management
• liaise with third party vendors for consultation and assistance in the resolution of issues and queries

Requirements:

• college or University graduate in technical discipline with a minimum of five years’ experience within a financial industry, ideally Fund Management
• a flexible and adaptable project manager - able to work on shift and on-call out of working hours
• experience in Microsoft Windows server and workstation operating systems; extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and of MS Exchange
• sound knowledge and experience of LAN and WAN technologies along with IP Telephony and voice related technologies and network security practices
• effective time management and good interpersonal skills – able to communicate well to both internal and external clients in written and oral form with excellent communication skills – English, Cantonese and preferably Mandarin
• exposure and knowledge of TCP/IP, Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint 2007/2010 and Internet technologies
