IT Infrastructure Auditor recruitment
Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent and objective function that supports the firm in achieving its defined objectives by providing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
We are looking for an outstanding professional with strong experience in auditing IT infrastructure and / or systems to join the UBS GIA IT Audit Team, based in London. The successful applicant will join a team covering UBS Group Technology Infrastructure / IT Security Services and Client Facing Technology activities globally and be responsible for performing IT functional audits. As the successful candidate you will gain exposure to various IT infrastructure, security and client facing technology products and platforms.
As the successful candidate your main responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and assessing operational and emerging risks relevant to the IT functions
- Identifying and evaluating the effectiveness of controls designed to address those risks
- Providing practical, innovative, and value-added recommendations for issues identified
- Preparing reports of audit findings for UBS senior management at local, global, functional, divisional and Group levels
- Monitoring the results, risk profiles and developments within Group Technology Infrastructure Services and provide input for planning sessions
As the ideal candidate you:
- Possess excellent influencing and communication skills, demonstrating a high level of listening skills, capable of concise presentation of complex material with the ability to think on the spot, matched with first class project management and report writing skills
- Are a personable team player capable of working with global team members located across different locations, demonstrating balance, good-humour and sound judgment
- Demonstrate leadership and diligence, are proactive and driven, and initiate organisational change to achieve a practical, commercial and efficient control environment
- Are able to work under pressure delivering against deadlines and meeting quality required under the departments methodology
- Possess skills in data analytics, computer assisted auditing techniques and the ability to rapidly assimilate, assess and structure quality reports to support audit analysis of the control environment
- Possess excellent knowledge and experience in auditing information technology used within Financial Services, preferably investment banks or large complex organisations
- Possess a good knowledge of technology infrastructure platforms, products, risk controls and regulatory environments
- Possess audit experience including all audit processes, including risk assessment, planning, execution, and reporting
