IT Infrastructure Strategy Lead / Infrastructure Strategy Lead (Change Program): Leading Investment Bank

Exciting new role for an It Infrastructure lead to embark on an exciting new program at this leading Investment Bank to join the Technical Architecture and Strategy division within the firm's Technology Infrastructure Services division, responsible for governing the portfolio of infrastructure technologies, defined by the firms Technical Domain Model, and providing strategic positioning, architectural designs and innovation for emerging technologies, complex cross-domain solutions and industry trends.

The successful candidate will be responsible to evolve the Business Strategy of the Bank and ensure its execution. You will be responsible for supporting the banks change programs goals and objectives and will come from a strong IT background focussing on Organisational Architecture, process, Operating Models, Negotiation selling the need to the business leaders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience leading transformation ideally within an Investment Bank however candidates with previous experience working at blue chip organisations will also be considered.

• Previous experience providing strategy support and issue resolution to strategic programs, creating strategy for sourcing and Location.

• You will be responsible for refining and driving the operating model enhancements to improve the organization’s ability to realize the strategy, driving the organization’s transformation to a Service Model

• Must demonstrate proven track record in creating, evangelizing and effecting organizational and technical change strategies

•  Combines analytical and creative strategic thinking with a passion for communicating, listening to feedback and negotiation to be able to execute the thinking

• Excellent understanding of Infrastructure domain in banks and its future direction

• Change agent – strong influencing skills

• Organizational Skills - Must have the insight to look at the operation from a distance and to visualize its best operating structure. Must be able to then communicate that operating structure to the management team and incorporate it into the overall business plan.

• Strong communication skills in both technical and business areas

• Strong knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture, enterprise procedures, standards (e.g. ITIL, CS IT guidelines is an advantage)

• Good knowledge of end-to-end IT operations, infrastructure landscape
