IT Lead- SAP FICO Job in Skillman, New Jersey US


Johnson Johnson Global Services, a member of Johnson Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for IT Lead - SAP FICO, located in Skillman, NJ.

Global Services support existing SAP platforms for maintenance, enhancements new projects. Current position is in the Service management North America, to support four platforms for SAP Financial reporting functionalities relevant business processes.

The SAP Finance Lead will be responsible for providing SAP support to the SAP NA platforms Finance teams. Core responsibilities will include ensuring SAP meets the needs of the user community, regularly work with the finance team to define needs for Financial Reporting needs, perform gap analysis, create and ensure execution of implementation plan. The SAP Finance Lead will work closely with IT and the SAP support team to ensure system validation processes for implementing system changes. This person will also work closely with members of finance to gain knowledge of their SAP responsibilities and streamline processes reporting as needed. Other responsibilities will include: External interactions with our global support partner on a regular basis for world class SAP support; maintain internal interactions with business partners, functional groups; develop a thorough understanding of the month end closing process; recommend improvements to current process / reporting and implement where appropriate; work closely with business partners to define system gaps related to master data setup and reporting tools.

The SAP Finance Lead will develop an understanding of financial reports and tools, which are provided within SAP and utilize this knowledge by providing management with this financial information on an ad-hoc basis. This person will benchmark use of SAP with other JJ companies to evaluate alternate approaches or best practice as well as establish and foster close working relationship with global finance and logistics organizations. This person will also participate in or lead the creation and implementation of global reports used for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance purposes and prepare training materials and help lead the training effort for the finance organization.

The SAP Finance Lead will develop a thorough understanding to ensure financial approach within SAP is adequate and be responsible for SAP Financial applications reporting in Accounts Receivable, Disputes Management (FSCM), Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Cost center Accounting and integration with other SAP applications such as SD, MM CO and BW reporting. This person will also prepare various ad hoc reports and analysis as requested, participates in various initiatives and teams both within consumer and the greater JJ family as directed by immediate supervisor. The SAP Finance Lead will support the SAP production environment specifically focused on the Record to Report functionality for the North America platforms, assist and lead project and enhancements in Finance SAP process areas and provide continuous innovation and improvement to the SAP user community in specific functional area. This person will work with business partners to identify opportunities to improve system usage and efficiencies, change processes, and drive organizational adoption of business change.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 5 years of SAP functional FI CO modules configuration / project experience is required. Candidates with finance or accounting experience are preferred. Candidates who have experience in the areas of General Ledger, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, COPA Cost center accounting are preferred. Cross-functional team experience is preferred. Candidates with exposure to GxP or SOX environments are preferred. This position requires a minimum of 5% travel and will be based in Skillman, NJ.
