IT Manager – Leading Australian Bank – Mumbai Based recruitment

Leading Australian Bank who has intentions to rapidly expand their front office operations across Asia is seeking an experienced IT Manager to set up and build their IT operations within their Mumbai Office. 

Following the Mumbai build you will also act as the Project Lead for India and well help to plan and execute additional branch builds as well as drive project related activities such as an internet roll out.

Reporting directly into the Head of IT for Asia and whilst working closely with CTB based in Sydney, your initial focus  will be to supervise the construction of the server room and IT infrastructure set up. In parallel to this you will work with project teams and local vendors to drive systems implementation and facilitate system testing. 

In addition to your project related responsibilities, your remit will also extend to BAU activities such as managing and maintaining network and systems infrastructure and the management of first level support teams across helpdesk, specific projects and business applications.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity which would suit candidates who come from a varied IT Banking background and have been responsible for driving CTB project initiatives. Experience managing VMWare VDI and Citrix environments as well as being involved in Infrastructure and server builds is a MUST. Core banking applications, internet project and dealing room infrastructure experience would be advantageous.
