AAA Insurance Exchange is looking for a seasoned leader who is seeking a challenging and rewarding environment creating and supporting the Contact Center organization. This person will be a member of the Application Services senior management team within the Information Technology organization, reporting to the IT Application Services Executive. This individual must demonstrate executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills while having the ability to innovate, formulate creative strategies, and bring them to life. An ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for his/her work.
Job Functions:
- Develops strategic partnership with Contact Center executives and leaders to strategize, define and ensure implementation of needed IT solutions.
- Provides leadership, vision and direction to the technical and business resources.
- Accountable and responsible for supporting the Contact Center applications and managing them within budget, and with a high level of quality performance.
- Assists in defining strategies for responding to new business issues and opportunities.
- Communicates current performance of all IT business unit related projects, issues and problems.
- Oversees and implements product development policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Leads research for new products, product enhancements, and product redesign.
- Continuously analyzes market to ensure competitiveness of current and future products.
- Responsible for managing the vendor relationships for technologies enabling and supporting the business.
Required:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field is required. An MBA is a strong plus.
- 10+ Years of experience in technology leadership, preferably with a strong business strategy component, large system deployment component, sustaining operations component, knowledge of IT Operations.
- The person must have demonstrated an ability to think strategically, develop and own product or technology roadmaps, apply systematic methodologies to prioritization of investments, and effectively execute on these investments.
- Experience managing in a member services or contact center field is highly preferred.
- Experience within the insurance industry or other financial business is highly preferred.
- This person should also have a comprehensive understanding of product and technology trends and future directions and the business implications of these changes.
- Given the broad nature of the technology market and that a candidate may have less familiarity in a specific segment requires that they have a demonstrated ability to quickly come up to speed and grasp the key elements of the technology.
- Demonstrated effective oral, written, public, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to frame complex issues and persuade a wide and diverse audience.
