Our client who is an online software and services for videogames. Their mission is: great software with quality support at scale.

They develop robust, scalable services to support tens of millions of users. Their teams work hand-in-hand with some of the top game development studios in the world, providing online software and services needed to power some of the most popular AAA video game titles. Their services are used by 190+ million gamers and support over 2.4million+ concurrent online gamers.

The ideal IT Manager will have experience providing IT services in heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux, OSX), strong Cisco networking skills, with remote offices and will have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for maintenance and upgrades for all the  IT infrastructure including:

·         Desktops, Laptops, Phones Mobiles for all the staff

·         Software licensing support

·         Other equipment including Cisco Network, Printers

·         Design Implementation of IT policies

·         Developer Support

·         User Account Management

·         Setup Support for new Employees

·         Backups, Disaster Recovery Business Continuity Planning

·         Internal services including bug tracking, help desk etc

·         Ensuring Legal Compliance

·         Documenting  IT services

·         A number of major projects including office expansions in both Dublin Vancouver

·         Managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers

Requirements:

·       Experience in working in a videogame / gaming company is a must
Strong Windows Server Desktop support Skills (min. 5 years experience)

·        Experience working in an OSX / Linux working environment
Strong Cisco Networking Skills (min. 3 years experience)

·        Excellent Communication Skills (written spoken English)

·        Willingness to travel

Nice to have:

·         Experience with Virtualization

·         Experience support Development teams (build systems, firmware patching)

·         Experience with Storage management of large transfers

·         Administration of services on Linux servers (Apache, Postfix, MySQL etc.)

·         SQL databases – MySQL preferred

·         Web services development (e.g. XML-RPC, REST
