Responsibilities:
- Management and development of the local IT team, including infrastructure, support, development and system change management staff (permanent contract)
- Delivery of all aspects of IT services for Hong Kong
Including but not limited to:
- Infrastructure and Applications Support
- Project Management of IT and Business sponsored IT projects
- Delivery of all IT technical changes covering Projects, Change Requests and Fix's
- Business Consultancy including Business Analysis activities
- Vendor and other 3rd party management
- Ensure adherence to IT Group policies and best practice
- Systems security and access control
- Data protection and data security
- Incident Management, BCP and DR
- Change Management including Testing and Release management
- Pro-actively participate in business and IT planning to ensure that that current and future business needs are appropriately addressed
- Continual review and improvement to processes and alert to and implement industry best practice where practicable
- Development, adherence to and tracking of IT budgets and cost reporting
- Delivery of periodic and ad-hoc management reporting, MIS and KPI data
- Contribute to the Regional IT team, sharing knowledge with and providing support to the Regional Head of IT and other countries. Scope may extend to project managing delivery of regional (non Hong Kong specific) projects and resources.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IT tools, systems, processes and practices in a medium to large sized Asset Management organisation.
- Proven ability to create, manage and develop high performing teams.
- Change Management skills at a Project Manager / Snr Business Analyst or equivalent level with a strong track record of success.
- Strong, demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate updates and issues effectively to senior management.
- Self motivated with a high level of initiative and a positive outlook.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and able to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to identify and assess business needs.
- Client focused with the ability to respond to client needs provide appropriate solutions
- Ability to understand and resolve complex issues
- Flexibility in outlook and embracing of changing
- Preferably with a good understanding of investment instruments and complex investment products
