Position Summary
This position provides support for our extended network that links all corporate locations and provides access to the internet. It also supports PC applications and all security involving the network and PC access.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Working directly with specific members of the user community to understand their networking needs and define rules and regulations to meet those needs where ever possible.
Manage user accounts.
Maintain all hardware and software that define the use and security of the network.
Monitor network activity for security and performance issues.
Developing test scripts to ensure accuracy of programming code.
Maintain written documentation.
Off hours support for critical situations is occasionally necessary.
Works closely with both IT personnel and business personnel.

Education and Experience
Minimum 2-3 years network experience.
Well versed in VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP and Active directory.
Experienced in working with MS Exchange, Windows Terminal Services and router configurations.
Knowledgeable in Windows XP 7, Office 2003, 2007 2010 and Windows Server 2003/2008.
Knowledge of AS400 a plus.

Physical Demand Work Effort
The environment where the work is performed is generally air conditioned without severe temperature changes.
Most work can be done from a seated position.
Some standing, walking and kneeling will be required to work on systems at work sites where there are problems.
