IT Operational Risk Manager recruitment
Our client is a global provider of banking, financial, advisory, investment and funds management services. The current requirement is for an experienced IT Operational Risk Manager, based in the Philippines and reporting to the Head of Risk in Sydney, Australia.
Responsibilities include:
• Act as the representative on IT risk management matters.
• Be the Business Continuity Manager.
• Provide support for educating and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements by staff and following up on incidents as required.
• Support the delivery of operational processes such as generic account processing, policy dispensation approval, and monthly management reporting.
• Participate in and lead initiatives that will improve risk management practices.
Candidate requirements:
Proven experience and knowledge of risk management and IT. Specifically they will have:
• 8+ years of experience in risk management in an IT environment
• Knowledge of leading edge risk management methodologies and standards and experience in applying them in a large enterprise environment
• Knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements relating to banking and finance in an IT environment
• Knowledge of business continuity planning (BCP) concepts and methodologies and experience in implementing BCP frameworks
• Basic technical security concepts (including practical application) and proven ability to build/manage a small team
