We are currently recruiting for an IT Operations Centre Manager (Network Operations Centre (NOC), Datacentre Manager). The IT Operations Centre manages Networks, Microsoft and Linux Servers, IT Hardware and databases both for Agilisys internally and our private clients.
The IT Operations Centre Manager position will involve leading an International, integrated, multi-client team delivering proactive Event, Capacity and Availability management across all Services, systems and infrastructure. The manager will provide the leadership and drive necessary to develop a best-in-class operation focussed on efficiency, performance excellence, professionalism and customer satisfaction. As part of the transformation of the Operations Centre, the post-holder will be required to focus energy and effort in realising the strategic business goals identified.
Experience Required:
Experience of managing a multi-client Enterprise Operations Centre
Demonstrable experience of Event, Capacity and Availability Management
Experience of implementing, managing and configuring Enterprise grade event management platforms (HP Openview, Solarwinds Orion etc.)
Understanding of dynamic network routing and management protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Experience of Microsoft and Linux Server technologies in relation to standard monitoring metrics
Thorough knowledge of Operations Centre practices including good industry knowledge of best practices, industry trends and customer service
Demonstrable experience of working within an ITILv3 Service Management environment
Demonstrable evidence of influencing positive change within an Operations Centre environment
