Fluor is seeking the nation’s top IT Operations Specialist  to meet our growing demands in Rochester, MN.

 

Responsibilities for this position:

 

       Ensure the appropriate safety practices are followed.

       Ensure all certification and training is in accordance with the requirements.

       Implement safety standards with Fluor and IBM Safety.

       Helps Fluor and Fluor clients implement CMMS technology including hardware / software support, end user support, database management, and work process control standards.

       Coordinates software version upgrades with technology suppliers, users and account management.

       Performs accurate database administration (e.g., updates completed PM’s and work orders, enters new PM Master Plans, initializes new employee numbers in database, maintains equipment hierarchy, validates tables, establishes/updates equipment numbers).

       Assists with troubleshooting, printer problems, login issues and training.

       Runs daily database import/export routines as required.

       Installs CMMS software on workstations.

       Prepares monthly, quarterly and semiannual reports for client and Fluor management as required. Maintains complete and accurate files to back-up all reports.

       Serves as a focal point for maintenance communications, responds to tenant inquiries, and takes messages and forwards information to the appropriate staff.

       Makes recommendations and suggestions on CMMS technology and work process control standards.

       Processes approved requests for new user-ids or access privilege changes. Maintains auditable records on security additions and changes.

       Stays current on regional practices and trains other employees as required.

       Understands and follows the sections of the OM Facility Management Practices for the IBM account.

       Complies with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs.

 

Requirements include:

 

       Experience with CMMS systems required.

       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable.

       At least 3 years related experience in technical services for hardware/software engineering and production support of IT.

       Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.

       Demonstrates strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both oral and written.

       Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills.
