IT Procurement Manager, Category Manager - Contract Law, eprocurement, MCIPS - Investment Banking - City, London - Permanent - Up to £90k max
An international investment bank is looking for an IT Procurement Manager to join their procurement ream and take responsibility for supplier management, vendor liaison and procurement systems. The Procurement Manager will also be required to play a part in identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives.
The successful procurement manager will have previous experience in IT Procurement and have solid knowledge of IT Software, Hardware and Services
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrable success operating at Category Manager / Category Lead / Senior Procurement Manager level
- Excellent IT Software, Hardware and Services category knowledge-base
- Solid grounding in English contract law, with a track record of implementing best-practice procurement strategy, policy and governance
- Experience operating within a change-management or consultancy culture highly beneficial
- eSourcing / eProcurement systems knowledge
- Understanding of the end to end procurement process and best practices
- Experience in a global procurement department
- Ariba
- MCIPS
