We are seeking an IT Program Manager to manage multiple, related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. These programs contain complex activities that may span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. 

 

IT Program Managers define and initiate programs which contain various levels of underlying projects, while managing cost, schedule and performance of component projects, as well as ensuring the ultimate success and acceptance of the program.  IT Program Managers maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives, and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent.  IT Program Managers are responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources among their constituent projects to the overall benefit of the program.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

·         Manages complex projects/programs from design and development to production.

·         Works with individuals and teams throughout the organization to define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.

·         Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.

·         Plans and schedules project deliverables, goals and milestones.

·         Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

·         Directs and oversees project engineering team and manages conflicts within the team.

·         Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.

·         Designs and maintains technical and project documentation.

·         Provide comprehensive weekly reports of all activities, engagements and projects

·         Create detailed project design documents and task-level project plans to organize cross-functional teams and drive work.

·         Track program/project interdependencies, milestones and deliverables to ensure successful project launch.

·         Ensure that all assigned projects are completed on time, meet the documented requirements, are within budget, and with an acceptable level of quality.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher in related IT field.

·         Minimum of three (3) years professional program management experience.

·         Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Must understand technology (software engineering, infrastructure management, database administration, configuration management, and software support services) and have the background to provide leadership in various IT implementations.

·         Strong oral/written communication, presentation skills, organization and interpersonal skills, combined with a demonstrated effectiveness in a managerial role and conflict resolution are required.

·         Experience in the business of sports and live entertainment ticketing preferred.

·         Knowledge and skills to be effective in the projects, business and/or compliance areas, and to make decisions that accomplish strategic objectives.

·         Advanced skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation and conflict resolution.

·         Solution and services delivery experience within project management, lifecycle management, and IT governance with associated best practices. (PCIDSS, PADSS, SAS70, SSAE16, ISO, ITIL, SDLC, SDI, PMI).

·         Previous experience in implementing major company/management improvement processes and procedures.

·         Ability to communicate complex technical problems concisely and professionally.

·         Aptitude to learn new technologies quickly and effectively.

·         Availability to work evenings and weekends, as required, to manage international program implementations and deployments. 

·         CAPM or PMP certification is desirable.

·         Ability to travel up to 25% on average.
