IT Program Manager with Healthcare experience Job in Eden Prairie, Minnesota US
We are seeking an IT Program Manager with IT Project and Program management experience and knowledge of the Healthcare industry to manage multiple projects around systems and data architecture.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing projects around systems and data architecture
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously. These will be capital projects involved in updating and consolidating functionality in various applications.
- Heavily involved with setting up recurring status meetings with the business, fielding questions from the business, as well as handling issues that arise from the business
- Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
- Gathering and updating project materials, completing budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents
- Speaking to details of the project to both the business and technical teams from beginning to end of all projects
- Obtaining maximum value from Information Technology project management services
- Utilizing organizational resources appropriately
- Managing key projects to ensure successful completion
- Managing cross-functional interdependencies
- Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time
- Providing risk management and issue/problem resolution as required
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT Project/Program management experience
- 5+ years of experience working hands-on with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- 5+ years of experience communicating risk, issues, and project status to executive level management
- 3+ years of Healthcare Industry experience
- Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Assets:
- Experience with Project Management tools including Planview and Microsoft Project
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, approximately 8 to 10 teams
- Experience with Agile/Scrum preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
