Specific Job Description ***THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON AWARD OF A CONTRACT*** Responsible for ensuring that customer needs are satisfied through managing and coordinating a team of support specialists responsible for providing state-of-the-art solutions in response to customer requirements. Other team responsibilities will include: ? Transition of current Internet network to NIPRNet ? Initial and continuing DoD Accreditation of the network, applications and web sites ? Establishment of the customer?s web sites on DoD White Lists or DMZ Extensions ensuring they are available on the Internet ? Database support and creation to customer requirements ? Web site support and creation to customer requirements ? Oversight of the network ensuring network services are available during customer established working hours ? Make recommendations on obtaining and installing new and alternate software packages The position will be responsible for the overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirement for the support team. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. This includes continued qualifications for assigned positions. Drive performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA?s). Develop and implement procedures to provide high quality services both internally and externally. Manage staff levels and scheduling to provide full coverage during required hours. Maintain and communicate performance through use of metrics.
