My client are an international market leader within the electronic payments financial services sector who are continuously expanding due to their on going global success use of cutting edge technologies. They are currently seeking an IT Programme Manager to join them on a permanent basis who in return are able to offer stability, fantastic career progression and training. They are an integral component of a global payments network and liaise with over four thousand financial institutions worldwide. They hold a sturdy history of staff retention and a tradition of people investment.
Your role of IT Programme Manager will be to manage the delivery to all areas of IT within specific programmes across the business and to external customers on a global scale. You will be managing various projects simultaneously whilst managing a large team. Within this position you will also be responsible for a variety of work streams for example Infrastructure, Development, Business Architecture Security whilst managing 3rd party suppliers.
Favour candidates who hold a background in Payments, Financial Services, Telecom, Consultancy.
This is a critical role within the business that requires candidates who are confident operating in global enterprise environments. You will need to hold a wide technical profile and have managed a wide variety of Infrastructure / IT programmes and projects.
Key Skill Requirements:
-Experience working in global enterprise environments i.e. Payments, Financial Services, Telecom, Consultancies etc.
-Past working experience in a relevant IT programme management role
-Extensive involvement management of third party suppliers
-Experience of using relevant large variety of software packages i.e. Proven Project Management experience of multi-million pound programmes
-Role relevant certifications, PRINCE2
-Past working experience working within various work streams i.e. Infrastructure, Development, Architecture, Security, (Mobile/contactless payments - not essential)
-A successful track record of leading significant and complex business programmes, overcoming challenges to consistently meet exceed objectives
-Matrix Management / Stakeholder Management / Team Management
