IT Project Coordinator I

This position is accountable for planning and managing projects. The IT Project Coordinator I translates technical and business needs into projects that are consistent with the requirements. They follow prescribed project management methodologies and software development lifecycles. They provide project leadership throughout the life of the project.
Required:
3-5 years of IT Project Management experience required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively lead medium to large teams
- Ability to develop a business and projects benefits case
- Strong understanding of IT department functions, infrastructure and operations
- Comprehensive understanding of project management and software development lifecycle methodologies to deliver business and technical solutions
- Strong understanding of change management and ability to provide leadership through change process
- Ability to coordinate and manage project activities across technical and functional disciplines, including system architecture, design, data management and infrastructure
- Ability to create detailed project plans
- Manage completion of all project deliverables
Preferred:
PC insurance industry experience
IT Management experience
