The Project Manager is responsible for all projects conducted with one or more clients in the implementation of the Health Data Management and ClinTrac platform. The Project Manager ensures that all projects meet project requirements, timelines and budget requirements and maintains overall responsibility for management and direction of the project team and all aspects of project management, including timelines, budget and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure installation and training schedules are synchronized with other implementation projects.
- Manage client interactions and expectations.
- Primary liaison for internal and external clients.
- Provide communication, risk and resource management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA degree in Information Technology or Health Information Management or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge and background in the healthcare business including but not limited to EHR, revenue cycle management, case and quality management, coding abstracting.
- Previous experience HIS/healthcare software implementations.
- Strong PC literacy required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications; including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Project.
- Knowledge of Visio.
- Adapts easily to constantly changing service requirements.
- Works calmly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle extremely varied tasks simultaneously.
- Must be very detail oriented and organized.
- Maintains professional client relations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, take initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (Communication, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation, etc.) when dealing with internal and/or external audiences at all levels of management, punctual and dependable.
- Accurately follows instructions with moderate to minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage people and resources.

PREFERRED:
- PMP Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
- Knowledge of Citrix, Terminal Services, Microsoft SQL Server, HL7 and flat file interfaces.
- Experience in a service-oriented environment.
