Position Description

This position posting is for a series of entry level project management positions for Boeing's Information Technology division. The organization offers a diverse range of both the people who the new hire will get to work with and the systems they would work on if selected. Project managers assist with the development of project plans and deliverables. They provide assistance to determine project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle. Project managers monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify necessary resources to meet project goals. They also support the execution of project communication plans and assist others to document and resolve project risks. Project management is a critical component in ensuring we deliver the highest quality products and services on time and on cost. Some examples of the systems we support are: Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

The new team members will be paired with a mentor who will help acclimate them to the position. We expect the new team members demonstrate initiative for learning, adaptability to complex situations and a fundamental understanding of how IT systems operate.

Entry level employees will participate in a developed on-boarding experience which helps explain the strategies of the organization, introduce them to other new employees, interact with our leadership and provide career resources to help them navigate through a variety of opportunities.
