IT Project Manager – Investments recruitment
As part of the investment applications development team you own and deliver IT projects using structured methodologies such as Prince or SSADM ensuring business objectives are satisfied and delivered on time and to budget. Projects will vary in size and duration and will include systems development as well as support and BAU small change requests.
Candidates must have proven experience of delivering medium to large IT projects (6months+) within an investment bank or investment/asset management company; have strong knowledge of financial instruments used for Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives; have a broad knowledge of systems and processes within the "buy side" arena such (e.g. Charles River and Latent Zero) and understand the market data supporting the investments process.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels; possess excellent conflict management and negotiation skills and have the ability to react positively under pressure.
