IT Project Manager - Contract
My client is a multinational ICT leader who manufactures, distributes and sells leading edge software and hardware products.
We are seeking an IT Project Manager on an initial 6-month contract to work on internal IT infrastructure projects based from Cork and working on projects across groups in Cork, Asia and US.
The role sits within my clients' global infrastructure and services team which is primarily an internal team, with internal customers. This is an internal Project Manager role where you will be responsible for delivering internal infrastructure projects across EMEA region. You will be based in Cork however majority of projects will be in Cork and Asia.
My client wants a strong project manager with strong mix of business process and systems process improvement experience. This role will be responsible for managing and tracking project milestones, presenting new infrastructure projects to internal customers, gathering key project data from project managers and presenting updates and milestone reports to senior management.
Requirements:
· At least 4-5 years IT project management experience
· Ideally with previous infrastructure project experience (or similar, i.e. software implementation)
· Ideally formally qualified in PM - PRINCE/PMP/Six Sigma
· Experience of working within a multinational across cross-functional teams and time-zones
We require a good all-rounder who will understand the technology and who has very strong data analysis, project management and cross group collaboration/relationship building skills, as working across different countries, cultures and time zones. You will work closely with internal departments such as sales, finance; software development and supply chain to ensure projects are done on-time and in-full.
Contract day rate of €200 - €250 per day.
