IT Project Manager

Help IT and business partners to understand strategic initiatives as well as deliver capabilities that support the online, as well as the wholesale channel fulfillment in addition to supporting main business.
Serves as part of the IT Project Management team and plays a lead role at the initiative/program level. The purpose of this position is to provide effective management direct several teams of associates in the planning, development, and implementation of very large ($20MM or more) IT projects, or oversees the management of multiple smaller projects being managed by Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers or Project Analysts. This is accomplished by applying or ensuring the application of a standard, defined methodology to the project, and providing the leadership skills necessary to control the execution of the project tasks, as defined in the methodology. Responsible for delivering several key project artifacts, and shares responsibility and accountability with the project leadership team for the successful delivery of the entire project. Works cross-functionally with end-user groups, business partners, vendors, development groups, architects, and service managers to ensure that new applications meet the practical needs of the company and are delivered successfully. May also be responsible for helping the Development VP with long range planning activities.
Required Skills:
· Portfolio planning, Resource Capacity Planning, Managing $50 million + annual spent.
· Managed 15 – 20 direct reports.
Preferred Skills:
· Fortune 500 experience, IT/COM, SDLC experience. MASTERS and/or PMI is preferred
· Years of experience: 10
· Project focus: Understands, anticipates, and meets business and project needs.
· Results orientation: consistently delivers on commitments, takes initiative, has a bias toward action, takes responsibility, shows individual accountability, has a sense of urgency, makes timely decisions.
