IT Project/Programme Manager – Asset Servicing recruitment
The program consists of a number of streams of work, each of which will require a dedicated project manager. Given the global nature of the program, requirements are expected to be complex and diverse. A strong individual with a proven track record in successful project management is required to complement the existing team and help deliver the overall ASPEN program.
Project Manager reporting to the global head of the strategic Asset Servicing program in Operations Technology, based in London. To lead one of the strategic project delivery streams to improve the automation and control of Asset Servicing globally. The role requires the individual to build effective relationships with technology partners, Operations Project groups and Front Office, Middle Office and Operations user communities. The role will require close teamwork in a demanding and complex area of Investment Banking Operations Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Global Head of Asset Servicing
- Work with a team of business/functional analysts and developers to implement one of the several key project streams.
- Direct indirect responsibility for full life cycle of software delivery.
- Ensuring positive customer service is maintained and enhanced with users, functional teams and partnering technology departments
- Impact analysis of design decisions and ensuring consistency with strategic business and technology roadmap
- Estimation and management of project budgets.
- Help define interdependences and other risks within the complex projects within Global Asset Servicing and the wider Operations Technology group
- Liaise with management, Business Offices and other groups globally to resolve issues as required
Skills
Knowledge/Experience:
- High level understanding of Capital Markets business and technology.
- Strong knowledge of Asset Servicing
- Development effort estimation and project planning, experience of structured methodologies an advantage
