IT Sales Account Manager Job in Bristol, South West UK

Sales Account Manager- IT Software - £30,000 - £35,000 - OTE £60,000 Car Allowance.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Sales Account Manager working for a global IT Software house and business consultancy based in Bristol. This Sales Account Manager will report into the Sales Director and successful sales team, you will work cooperatively and to targets to meet the company's growth objectives.

As the Sales Account Manager you must be able to provided examples of increasing revenue through additional sales, be able to develop relationships with existing clients.

This is a consultative Account Management opportunity working within the world's most recognised sectors. You must be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service, have excellent questioning skills and the ability to forge business relationship at all levels. A key element of the role will be:-

Identify sales opportunities via the existing client base and from networking and referrals. Progress these to closure
Initiate the sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
Listen to each potential client so as to understand their unique needs and improvement objectives.
Conduct sales meetings in a consultative manner based on solving client problems and supporting client objectives. Inspire confidence in prospects.
Construct and present tailored demonstrations to clients based on their business objectives
Identify reference points within the existing client base that might be relevant to new prospects
Work with prospects to help them refine their business case for change and achieve budget. Nurture them through the sales cycle
Close sales by overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
Build sales pipeline in line with sales targets

If you have proven track record in achieving and exceeding targets within the IT software sector, have a consultative approach to clients and have a desire to help solve their problems. To succeed you be an excellent relationship builder who inspires confidence. Have good prospecting and networking development skills.
