TITLE:

Account Executive

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Chesley Consulting, provider of Managed Service Solutions and an array of other solutions that range from our proactive network monitoring service to other services like offsite backup and managed email services. We specialize in Microsoft and network consulting.

 

The focus of this full-time position is to sell our IT Managed Services to organizations in the Southeast Michigan area. We have clients covering all corners of the state and would like to greatly expand our client particularly in Southeast Michigan. This individual will have the responsibility of growing our account base with new IT Managed Service Contracts. He/She will develop a complete sales funnel, inclusive of developing leads, making sales calls, preparing proposals and quotes, and closing sales.

 

We are seeking an aggressive, results-oriented Account Executive that can work independently and possesses:

 

- IT Sales Experience

- IT Experience

- Account Management Experience

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Generate sales leads and work within the Chesley Consulting model

- Develop relationships

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:

 

- 2+ years of successful MSP (Managed Service Provider) sales experience

- Experience in prospecting, cold calling, and lead development within a professional business-to-business sales organization

- Strong communication and organizational skills in order to maintain a level of activity which includes qualifying prospects, scheduling client meetings, pipe-lining qualified candidates, and generating revenue.

- Successful completion of background screening process

- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Sales, or related fields.

- Experience selling IT/Technology
