IT Sales Representative

We seek a dynamic sales representative with current industry specific experience, customers and contacts to prospect, qualify, and sell our network security services, professional services, hardware, software and licenses and maintenance renewals  to mid-market retail and commercial customers. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong desire to succeed, possess a "hunter" sales mentality, and be comfortable calling on technical individual contributors through CxO level executives in a direct sales capacity.

Job requirements:

The candidate must have demonstrated expertise developing new business in the security hardware software or managed security services or with hardware and software sales and must have a demonstrable track record of successfully cold-calling, closing new accounts, and routinely exceeding quota. The candidate must be self-motivated but also able to function within a team.

Responsibilities include:

·        Aggressively develop and qualify new business leads in target markets

·        Close new business, meeting revenue and new account quotas

·        Manage a large contact base, ensuring professional follow up and nurturing of all leads

Qualifications:

·        Minimum 2-5 years of current experience as a technology services and equipment sales representative

·        Current relevant customer base

·        Security software or managed security services experience a plus but not required

·        Technically adept, with a good base knowledge of the networking and security industry

·        Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

·        Extremely competitive / Hunter / Farmer

·        Consultative selling and superior listening skills

·        Strong customer orientation; able to empathize and build rapport

·        Highly self motivated, possessing initiative, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing goals

Compensation:

·      Highly competitive base salary plus commission on a scale that is consummate with experience and ability to ramp up new sales  quickly.

Job location: This position will be based out of our office in Carrollton, Texas.
