IT Security Analyst
Performs necessary procedures to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Will be responsible for maintaining and tuning the enterprise Active Directory environment, as well as engaging in the overall security risk management program. Primary Duties Responsibilities: Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures. Perform threat and vulnerability assessments and maintain documentation. Perform penetration testing at regular intervals and maintain reporting and documentation. Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs. Monitor use of data files and regulate access following established procedures to safeguard information in computer files. Modify computer security files to incorporate new software, correct, errors, or change individual access status. Document computer security and incident response policies, procedures, and tests. Interface with user community to understand their security needs and implement approved procedures to accommodate the identified needs. Ensure understanding and adherence to the necessary procedures to maintain security. Confer with users to discuss issues such as computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.
